Joanna Rubin, VMD
Joanna Rubin, VMD is founder and owner of the practice. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. Dr. Rubin’s interests are broad, enjoying all aspects of small animal medicine and soft tissue surgery, with a special interest (and love for,) the senior and geriatric patients.

Joanna Kopec - Senior Veterinary Technician
Joanna has been a technician since 2004. She has been with BVAH since 2013. In her off time she enjoys spending time with her family, 3 cats, traveling, hiking, and is currently in school studying health coaching and nutrition.

Alexis Rahimzadeh - Senior Veterinary Technician
Alexis graduated from Median School(now known as The Vet Tech Institute) in 2005. She worked in the Vet Emergency field for 2 years and is a licensed VetTech. She has been with BVAH since 2015. Alexis enjoys spending time with her family(2 kids & a husband) and in her spare time she enjoys shopping, botox and working out.
